Oxfam's new video tells the stories of the women who make our clothes but aren’t paid enough to escape poverty. They are paid as little as 39 cents an hour, yet it would cost companies less than 1 percent of the price of a garment to provide them a living wage. See the company tracker outlining actions the big brands are taking (or not taking!) on worker exploitation. Sign the petition to demand that Kmart and Big W pay workers fairly.

Instead there's a public consultation process and survey where the government is asking the specifics of what we want. The Plastic-free Victoria Alliance has prepared a template as a guide to help you answer the 10 questions.

Greenpeace has just released its latest Guide to Greener Electronics, which looks at what the world's top consumer electronics companies are doing to address their environmental impacts. Fairphone and Apple topped the ratings, while Amazon scored an F (read Greenpeace's critique here).
